What is a Web Service

Web Service Definition Web service is a software system designed to support interoperability and interaction between systems on a network. Web service is used as a facility provided by a web site to provide services (in the form of information) to other systems, so that other systems can interact with the system through the services (service) provided by a system that provides a web service. Web service stores data information in XML format, so data can be accessed by other systems, although different platforms, operating systems, and language compiler.
